Fuel System: Inaccurate gas left, poor mileage, etc.
Defects in a vehicle’s fuel system can present themselves as decreased fuel efficiency (poor mileage), sputtering, surging, faulty fuel pumps, noise in the fuel tank, and (perhaps the most obvious sign) the car not starting. This can be caused by faulty fuel injectors, faulty fuel filters, faulty fuel lines, and faulty fuel pumps. If any of these elements of the fuel system are defective, the system cannot work efficiently. Prolonged fuel system problems can affect the engine. If your new vehicle is showing signs of a problematic fuel system, it is essential that you take the necessary steps to make repairs and, if defective, file a lemon law claim.
